Special Needs

These dogs and cats are our Special Needs rescues

Some have challenges which, while they are still very adoptable, will require a special family.

Some are undergoing expensive medical treatment - we rely on donations from supporters to help pay the medical bills for all our dogs and cats - our adoption fees barely cover routine vetting let alone any extensive medical care.

Special Needs pets are special in every sense of the word. You can read their individual stories by clicking on the photographs.

		Daisy is a 7-year old Cattle Dog who's had a rough ride.
		Minnie is a senior girl who requires surgery to remove stones in her bladder.
		Willow would like a special home - her eyes were damaged by URI when she was younger
		Adopted! Barney required extensive surgery on his broken legs
		Astro has sight impairment - he will need a special forever family.

		Bosley is a Boxer who is on a strict diet - he is looking for a special family to adopt him.

		Wills (he's a prince!) has thrived under the love and care of his foster home but will require a special forever family.
		Radar is a 12 pound Chihuahua who had to have his right rear leg amputated - he is looking for a forever home who will love him for the happy-go-lucky boy he is.
		Bella is a 6 pound Chihuahua who is looking for a kind, compassionate person who will understand her special health needs.
		Adopted! Jack had a traumatic injury prior to being rescued which resulted in amputation of his left front leg.
		Adopted! Hope was severely neglected but she is regaining her health now thanks to love and care from her foster home.
		Like all our dogs and cats, Jennie is safe and loved in her foster home but she deserves a special forever home of her own. She is a special dog and a Frisco Humane favorite.
