About our rescue group

Established in 2001, Frisco Humane Society, an all-volunteer 501(c)3 organization, rescues dogs and cats primarily from Animal Control facilities.  Since 2001 we have rescued and re-homed over 7,000 dogs and cats.

All animals in the FHS program live in foster homes until they can be placed permanently.  We provide all the necessary medical care for each animal, including rabies and viral vaccinations, deworming, heartworm test/feline leukemia test, spaying and neutering, and we microchip both cats and dogs.

We treat all our animals for any medical conditions that arise and we rely on donations and fundraising to cover our ever-increasing medical expenses.
